1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing or using Gist60 you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree please do not use Gist60.

2. Description of Service

Gist60 is a news aggregation application that summarizes news stories from various sources for users in the United States and Canada. We offer:

Free tier: 3 categories, 10 articles per day
Pro tier: All 7 categories, unlimited articles, no ads

3. User Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account
You are responsible for maintaining your password security
You must be 13 years or older to use Gist60
One account per person

4. Subscriptions and Billing

4.1 Free Tier

Available at no cost with limitations and advertisements.

4.2 Pro Subscription

Monthly: $4.99 USD/CAD per month
Annual: $48.00 USD/CAD per year ($4.00/month)

4.3 Auto-Renewal

      Pro subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date. Your account will be charged within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
    

4.4 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through:

iOS: Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions
Android: Google Play → Subscriptions
Web: Account Settings → Subscription

Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No partial refunds for unused time.

4.5 Price Changes

We will notify you at least 30 days before any price changes.

5. Promo Codes

Promo codes are single use per account
Cannot be combined with other offers
No cash value
We reserve the right to expire codes at any time

6. Content

News content is sourced from third party RSS feeds
We summarize content — we do not own the original articles
All summaries link back to original sources
We are not responsible for accuracy of third party content

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Share your account credentials
Attempt to bypass free tier limits
Scrape or copy our content
Reverse engineer the application
Use the service for illegal purposes

8. Advertisements

Free tier users will see advertisements. Pro subscribers see no advertisements. We are not responsible for third party advertisement content.

9. Disclaimers

Gist60 is provided "as is" without warranties
We do not guarantee uninterrupted service
News summaries are for informational purposes only
We are not responsible for decisions made based on news content

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Gist60 shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Canada. Any disputes shall be resolved in Canadian courts.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of new terms.
